2nd Annual Mande Independence Day Parade by Mande Milkshakers
Celebration for Independence Day
Saturday, June 30th, Abita Springs Trailhead and Park
This free event is from 5:00-10:00 pm. Fireworks start at 9:00pm. We will have 2 local bands on stage, the flag retirement ceremony, and local civic organizations with fun activities and games. Chompers bbq, plus hot dogs, baked treats, Abita Beer, snoballs, and iced coffee! More info on Town Website coming soon! For donations or questions, please call LeAnn Magee, 985-205-2261.
**Kids may bring their BIKES to decorate (supplies provided) and PARADE at 7:00 (free snowballs for participants), Hula Hooping demo, lessons and contest at 7:15, Cupcake Walk, Recycled plastic bag CRAFTS, Painted Rock scavenger hunt, Patriotic face painting! Kids’ activities in the Pavilion all evening! ! The splashpad and playground will also be open! BRING the Kiddos and join the fun!!!

Parade occurs at 10 a.m. through the streets of Bogalusa. Fireworks start around 8:30 p.m. at the high school stadium.

Food & Craft Vendors can register to particpate in the event for $25 at Springfield Town Hall. Each vendor will be assigend a 15ftx15ft space to setup a tent. Food vendors will be limited to specfic items based on first come first serve basis.

Light Up the Sky at Zemurray Park
Hammond, LA July 4, 5pm – 9pm or end of fireworks
The City of Hammond provides a free fireworks celebration lasting 20 minutes with more than 3,966 individual fireworks effects. The Light Up the Sky event—which begins at 5:00pm on July 4, 2018—draws hundreds to historic Zemurray Park where nonprofit organizations offer food booths; a DJ entertains the crowd with music; kids play on the inflatables, ride the minuature train, and climb the rock wall.
