Northshore Mama’s Pick for Best Deals on School Uniforms – #BackToSchool

Here are a few GREAT deals that you can get on school uniforms! I am choosing these because I have had them and found them to be better quality as far as wear and tear AND fade-proof.

TARGET – Target’s CAT & JACK uniforms are on sale this week for $7…then when you use code SCHOOL20 at checkout, you get an additional 20% off. That makes them $5.60 each. Of course, when you check out with your RED CARD, you save another 5% making them just $5.32 per shirt. Red card also gives you free shipping and more time to return!

I got these last year and they held up really well. They also offer two textures. The pique is your normal school shirt texture with a tiny weave that you can see. The interlock shirts are more like a thick, soft t-shirt. They have the same weight as the pique, but are smoother and softer. My older son preferred those last year. We did not see the interlock in the store this week, but they are online.

The coupon works on bottoms, too. They just aren’t as good of a deal, in my opinion.

***If you prefer to shop in store, use THIS CARTWHEEL to get the same 20% off! Of course, when you check out with your RED CARD, you save another 5% making them just $5.32 per shirt. Red card also gives you free shipping and more time to return!

The Children’s Place has 60% off EVERYTHING and FREE SHIPPING right now. I also have purchased lots of their uniforms in the past. The color seems to hold well…even after the 2nd brother wore them. They also don’t shrink as much as other brands. I hate when you get the laundry and the shirts are wider than they are in length!

So, the uniform shirts are just $4.38 right now, with NO COUPON needed! They also offer extended sizes, so that helps.

Shorts are $7.18 after discount and pants are $7.98. They do not show the pull on, elastic waist pants on the school uniform page, but you can find them for the same price ON THIS PAGE.  I prefer these pants and shorts because they have held up through my son wearing them for 3 years in some instances. He needed husky, but they were really long. So, we folded and hemmed them and let them out as he grew. THEN….his little brother wore them a couple more years. Be aware of the length, but these are great pants! Shorts, too!

Academy has shirts under $4. I have purchased these, and thought they  held up well, the color did not. That’s not a deal breaker for me, but it should be noted.

Old Navy also has uniforms in the $5 range for shirts with their Buy One Get One Free offer. I do not care for the quality of these. They felt stiff, faded A LOT, and shrunk a good bit.

So, if you like to shop at Target, and have not gotten a REDCard yet, I URGE you to do so. You’re missing out on another layer of savings, Free Shipping and extended return periods! It’s totally FREE and can be a debit card. You don’t have to have a credit card at Target!  Click the box below to get yours and start saving more now!
