Slidell Little Theatre is offering four tickets – 2 adults and 2 children – to “Willy Wonka” to the lucky winners of this giveaway. Read through the info below, then see instructions for giveaway in the last paragraph.
“Willy Wonka” takes to the mainstage beginning August 17 and runs through September 9, with additional Saturday 2 p.m. matinees.
Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which features the songs from the classic family film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. A scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth. Let Willy Wonka take you and your family on a fantasy ride into the land of pure imagination!
Show dates and times are August 17, 18, 24, 25, 26, 31 September 1, 2, 7, 8, 9. Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. There will be no matinee on opening weekend.

I am not sure what my favorite production is. I havent been to a play since I was a child. Peter Pan and Annie were both awesome. My children would absolutely love to see Willy Wonka, it is one of their favorite movies.
I wish I had a favorite stage production. I’ve always wanted to go to a play and have hinted around to my husband to take me and kiddo’s but he hasn’t got the hint yet. LOL I haven’t been to a play since I was in elementary school on a field trip to see Ruppenzal.
My fave stage performance was “The Lion King!” My daughter would LOVE to go to see Willy Wonka!

My dad took me to see my first play in a theater at the Sanger when I was around 10. It was Cats and I’ll never forget it! I”ve seen multiple shows since then, but that one will always hold a special place in my heart.

Most unforgettable was “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”.
