I just recently noticed lots of my friends heading out and “checking in” on Facebook to “White Sands Lake”. I looked it up and found out that it was a beach with “white sands” and “clear water”. I don’t like to be in water that I can’t see through, so the “clear water” part caught my attention. So, Monday, the boys and I headed out to run some errands and try to find the place. I was shocked to find that it was literally less than 10 minutes from my house. Now, y’all know that I am ALL ABOUT finding things to do with with these two loons of mine without breaking the bank. So, to find out that there is a WHITE beach with CLEAR water just minutes from my door was good enough news. But, their prices were even better! It’s just $12 for ages 12 and up, a mere $7 for ages 4-11 and (this is my favorite!!) under 4 is F*R*E*E! The admission covers you ALL DAY LONG! That gives the boys and I something to do while Daddy is at work for less than $20! How awesome is that?
