Back by popular demand…..Northshore Mama’s Cute Kid Contest! You can win a photo session with a local photographer just by submitting a themed pic of your cutie, then asking your friends and family to LIKE NSM and vote for your child’s pic!
If your child’s photo gets the most LIKES, you will win a Mini Photo Session with Katie Ulmer Photography that includes the following:
1 hour session with 15-20 images edited on a disk with print release. Also, winner will receive a discount on future sessions. On site photography. Location choice within Springfield, La. to Slidell, La.

For May, email a pic of your cute kid to kari@northshoremama.com. Please make the subject line “CUTE KID – MAY” so that I can find them easier and no one gets lost in my tons of emails! Please include the name of the child in the email. First name only is fine as I do not post them with full names.
Pics should be sent to me before May 4. It takes time to upload the pics, so I start working on it before the contest kicks off. Once the contest is posted, YOU CANNOT SEND PICS TO ADD TO THAT CONTEST.
Submissions for May should be inspired by the thoughts of “Mommy & Me“. Please keep in mind when selecting pics that the theme is there for a reason. Of course, your friends and family are going to vote for your cutie’s pic, but you also want extra votes from others! So, if you were voting in a contest and didn’t know any of the candidates, wouldn’t you look for the pics that fit the theme best?
SOME RULES: Professional photos are not allowed. These must be candid shots that you, a family member or friend have taken. The voting for this contest will start on March 1 and run for one week. Then, on May 11, after the week of voting, I will announce the winner.
You can participate month after month, but can not win more than once in a cycle of photographers. However, please only send me one picture. If you have three kids, send me a pic of all of them together. (How would the other two feel if one of them won?) We don’t want to spark any sibling rivalry issues too early!

Votes will be counted by “LIKES” on your picture on my facebook page. One vote, per person, per picture. So, you will need to share my page and ask your friends and family to LIKE NSM and then LIKE your picture in the appropriate folder. Comments will be welcomed, but not counted as a vote. LIKES are the only way to insure that only one vote per person is counted. Email me with pics or with questions!
