Compare prices before you buy!! You could get a better deal on a bigger item!

I took this picture in Walmart yesterday.

On the left, you have a 12 oz bottle of Dial liquid soap. In the middle is an 18 oz bottle of the same. On the right, is an 18 oz bottle of Equate’s equivalent product. All 3 are priced $2.97. Which is the better deal??

Obviously the 18oz Dial. Not just because it is a name brand product, but because you can probably find a coupon for it. In fact, here is one for $1.00 off 2. That would make your already better unit price even better still. You can get 2 18oz bottles of Dial for 2.47 each with that coupon. That makes the per oz price 13.7 cents as opposed to 16.5 cents for the Equate or 24.7 cents  for the 12 oz Dial.   Always check your per ounce or unit price when comparing sizes and/or brands.  Every little bit helps!
