Kari’s List: Fisher Price Baby Papasan Chair

So, as some of you may remember, I was all excited and planning to put lots of stuff into the Reruns for Little Ones sale last week. But, as usually happens for me, there was too much going on and I didn’t get to go.

So, I am going to try something new for the blog. I am going to post some of my items on KARI’S LIST!  I am going to offer them to you, my faithful readers before I list them on eBay.  Then, if it goes well and you have something that you want to sell, or buy, for that matter, you can send me pics, descriptions, contact info, etc. and I will put it on the blog under the category: KARI’S LIST.

Fisher Price Baby Papasan Chair – $20. (The actual one is disassembled to be cleaned, but is in excellent condition with no stains. All parts are included. It actually has an arm that holds the little bunny over head and has a mirror on the end of the arm for baby to see himself.)

This thing was a lifesaver! It plays music, vibrates and is so big and comfy! Both of my babies lived in this chair the first couple of months. As any mom knows, those first few nights, EVEN IF the baby sleeps, you don’t!  With my first, every sigh, smack, snore or movement woke me up and I stood up to look down in the pack n play to see what the noise was.  So, after about a week of that, I realized that he could sleep in the Papasan next to my bed and I could see him without having to actually get up. He was sitting upright, so choking was less of a worry. So, each time he smacked or sighed, I could just open an eye and make sure he was still asleep, breathing, etc….. and go right back to sleep for 2 more minutes.  Because of all of this, when I hear the music on this chair, I start bawling! OMG, I’m tearing up now just thinking about it! It is the sweetest, most soothing music and instantly takes me back to those first few weeks when they were so tiny and sweet and innocent. When I was so emotional, so exhausted and now wish that they had lasted longer.  (OK, I can’t see now, so there may be typos!)

Maybe, I don’t want to sell this after all……..OK….gotta go get a tissue.
